| 87 88 89 90 are the same and have the same style intake.91-92 have different frames but the same intake.so 87 has its own cylinder head 88-92 have the smaller 6 bolt style cylinder.

| 85-86 dont have power valve , reeds in cylinder and the swingarms and frames are different.87-92 bottomend motor are the same. 87 clyinder is different from 88-92(has bigger intake and 5 bolts instead of 6) All the heads have 6 stud holes, i think the 87 is cut different though. 85-87 axels have 24 splines 88-92 have 26.87-90 frames are same 91-92 have different swingarm linkage. Yes, you can put an 88-92 cylinder on 87-92 bottom end. You will need the different intake . Scott

| Yeah this cylinder definatly has a larger intake. I wish I new what year the lower end was just to be sure.
