| Yes you can use the stock hood and cap with the maier plastics.As far as screen goes it is good to keep out small twigs and such but the hood can be used without it..

| ok i have a nice carbon fiber look maier hood on it but i like the look of a stock blue hood on silver plastic. i think someone on this site has that setup, and it looks great. anyway im getting ahead of myself, i have to tear it apart tommorow to find out why it is running bad.
