| vesrah rods are just as good as stock. plus there cheaper. i've had alot of vesrah rods install in engines i've built and never had a problem. my buddy has one in his 94 rm125 and he beats on the bike. the rod is still holdng strong. the only rods availible for the 85-86 are a stock rod and a vesrah rod. hot rods are only for the 87-92 lt250r's |

| the rod looks good but the mechanic that put the new rod and bearing in on the bottom said that it was a tight fit and that it might not last as long as a OEM.

| They are machined to just as tight tolerances as stock. Dont worry it will be fine, unless he installed it wrong.... Did you install new bottom bearing thrust washers? IO have seen them run withkout them but I cant imagine it would last near as long since the rod is always twisting more than it should.

| I have installed vesrah gaskets in a couple motors and have never had a problem. I cant say I have never seen a motor running a vesrah con rod, sounds like it is a little late for you anyway.....
