Top end Best choice???????Lt250r

I got a new lower end (89) for my lt250r. I have my original 87 cylinder with the larger intake. My question is am I better off using this set up or should I switch to the 88-92 cylinder. I've heard the 87 has more power cuz the intake & ports are larger but they only made the setup for 1 year so that would bring me to think that it was a bad idea. Let me know what ya think

what are your plans for the engine what do you wanna do as far as bolt ons and what kind of riding do you do ,drag play mx trails ?????

The motor will stay fairly stock. I mostly just trial ride and play around on my acreage

the 87 only makes minimal power over the 88-92 in stock from, its not even noticable unless you have it ported, and then the 87 will make more power
