Default Jetting Questions - my new Keihin 36mm PJ

Ok, so I talked to Duncan Racing and describing what I wanted out of my '91 LT250R(woods and trail riding), they recommended the Keihin 36mm PJ carb. I managed to grab a pair of them off ebay from a banshee. I wanted to know what jetting you guys would recommend though?

I live in PA, the bike has a new Wiseco, bored .020" over, full FMF system, Boyesen RAD valve, vented airbox, and K&N filter(stupid in ATV, I know). I run 93 octane and Klotz 50:1.

I actually threw in the PJ and the quad runs really good I thought. It just wouldn't idle, no matter how much I played with the choke and idle adjust. The PJ came with 55 pilot, 175 main I think...

50:1, you're braver then I am...lol.

what kind of elevation are you at? the pilot jet has more to do with the idle....but i also found mine to not idle when it had a piece of the reed broken off...

Ya, I know..I was considering 40:1. Used to run Bel-Ray MC-1 which is meant to be 50:1..

I figured its just a small pilot adjustment but not sure..curious what others would recommend without the PJ specs I gave. I checked out the reeds when the motor was apart though and they looked great..
