what kind should i get what will give me the most power and will i notice the power. i was thinkin of gettin boyseen reeds because im rebuildin my motor put dont want to waste the money if they will not do much thanks there are goin on a 86 lt250r suzuki

If you still have stock ones then id replace them. Reeds are only supposed to last a few years before replacement. I put fmf torque reeds in my 86 and didnt see much improvement but the old ones were metal and not worth a flip anyways.

I put Boyesen Power reeds in my 1990 250 and it made quite a big difference. It revs out much further now, definatly worth around $30 on ebay.

1DirRacing has a whole replacement reed cage for the 86 quadracers its called G3 power curve. this is the only place i ever seen a whole cage for the 86 if anybody knows how they perform please let me know

i bought a set of tony dukas racing (TDR) carbon fiber reeds, there premium and quite a bit better snap than the boysen reeds!
