| My lt rear was acting as a pretty good slingshot too. It needed to be rebuilt, now it works great, better traction too. |

| What would be good replacement shocks for the front. I will check into getting the rear rebuilt. The front just seems to be realy stiff. you can feel every little bump when you get off trail. |

| I'm pretty sure that 400ex front shocks will mount up but you might want to let someone comfirm that one for you.

| the front shocks are bad, well they might have been good when they were brand new but after 18 years of use the oil breaks down and someone turns the preload up on the front shocks and now they ride to stiff. same for the rear, the oil is shot and some kid probably let all the nitrogen out which leads to pogoing. get the rear shock rebuilt and revalved to your specs and get at least a set of cheapy works and the quad will handle alot better. but if you have the money get a set of better front shocks. |
