The stock rear is pretty good. Why dont you just have your existing one reworked?

some guy on ebay had a 300ex shock on the back, he said it worked very good for him. im thinking about getting one 2, alot cheaper that getting the stock one rebuilt or buying an aftermarket one.

a 300ex shock is worse than a stock LT shock. no rezzy, and no adjustments other than preload. i don't think it would be worth it. the stock LT shock rebuilt to your specs would way out preform the nonrebuildable 300ex shock.

i think it would. but if yours is realy worn out to far, then it wouldn't be worth it. but rebuilding a stock lt shock will give you the same performace as the low end works shocks. should cost about $125 to rebuild and revalve your shock.
