Default First Ride - WOW - Then KABOOM

Took my LT out to the track today....moderate MX track. I was with some preds and a 450r. Well...WHOLY freaking crap this LT is a rocketship! Im so pleased beyond words..its bored over a lil, piped and jetted.... WOW man im still stoked by the power and it handeled FANTASTIC with Dura blue spacers. Even the pred guys were amazed. I was getting I would say 5 fett of air off the tabletop and I wasnt bottoming out at all. It was not as smooth as say elkas or ohlins, but crap 14 year old shocks they worked pretty sweet. THis thing would walk all over my old 2001 400ex. I spent couple hours racing around the track...I was the only 2-stroke save one Honda R that blew up in the morning. I pulled away from many 400 ex and z-400s..I was like a kid again and I had a better toy than the other kids on my block. I got tons of props for my bike to from riders... that was sweet. I did eat it on a turn.. I was power sliding this switchback that was nasty and I hit soft mud, threw my clean head first. Broke my visor but I was okay......

So anyway....late in the day....

I was putting along in 2nd on a trail when all the sudden my motor started to vibrate serious. And it was like a rythem.....like vibrate than not then vibrate than not.... I was like wtf so I turned around to take it to my truck and I lost first gear, I shifted into second thinking "did I just lose first?" and I rode it 300 yds and then lost second. I killed the motor imediatley knowing I had problems other than a vibration...pushed it the rest of the way to my truck. It starts first kick, but vibrates bad....Im to tired from the ride today to pull the motor now..i will pull it tomorrow.

I picked up a bottom end off ebay so I have parts I supose. What do you guys think?

Tore it open today...30 mins to pull it out, im becoming a pro...

SO, Balancer nut unscrewed itself...then the gear key stripped and cut the woodruff and spun free letting the balancer loose hence the bad vibration.. It ate up my drive gears...I lost first and second and I havent cracked the case but im sure I will find more mess in there. Im just going to replace all the gears and trans gears with the spare motor I bought. While im at it im going to have my head bored and sleved its at .80 over right now and then ported..Ima ask EvilTwin to do it, his prices seem fair and I hear good things bout his work.

I might have him lighten my flywheel too, anybody done this?

I dont think its worth shaving your flywheel cause a lt250r flywheel is so small. If you had a banshee id say go for it but not on a lt250r. They rev fast enough the way it is.
