Default New sleeve/New Piston/New question

Hey, I ordered a new sleeve and piston. My buddy told me that I didnt need to have the sleeve bored to fit the piston because I bought a STD sleeve and a STD piston. He said they should already be matched with piston to sleeve clearance already there because they are both factory sizes. Is this true?

Thats actually more relevent to whether the job is done correctly or not. Sometimes there can be a slight warp done to the cylinder that'll need to be bored out, and many times the cylinder may need to be honed a hair. Were Wiseco still doing the work and you sent it to them, then I'd say a definate no worry. You'll likely have no more problem than a hone can fix but only if you have the cylinder swap done right.

Let me know if your wrist pin has like a millimeter or two to slide back and forth between the circlips. And definately hone the cylinder.
