 zilla sprocket combo for dunes Taking this beast to the dunes for the first time in april and want to know what you guys are using for the sprocket combo. Thanks for the help with choosing the tires for the rear. I got alot of good input for y'all. I ended up getting 10 paddle extremes. I'm having a little bit of a honda 450 problem that I need to get rid of. The zilla's in the shop getting the carb bored out on it and the last thing I'm gonna do is change the sprockets. | I either like stock, or 14/38 for a little hint more top end. I think its safe to say you'll be taking care of that honda parasite in short order. =)

| start off in 2nd gear when you drag race... i had the wrong gearing on mine when i was at SL and i had to start off in 1st.... i rounded the doggs off in the tranny within 3 races..... game over.....

Sound like 14/41 is the way to go. Thanks again. Hopefully with the new addition of the carb upgrade and the sprockets that honda 450 will be done for good. Granted he has $13,000 wrapped up into it....we'll see. I'll video tape it. End of April at Silver Lake. Later. -Grouch |

 LT500 gearing for the steep Are any of you riding St Anthony's Idaho or Little Sahara's Sand Mountain in central Utah? If you are what mods are you running and what gearing do you recommend. I am interested in going to a 14 tooth gear up front but the question remains what should I run as a rear sprocket for the steep climbs? just want to run the 500 as fast as it will go with the stage IV mods I have, stock swing and A-arms with works shocks for trailability.
