Default LT500 frames

I recently bent the frame on my 88 zilla, love the machine put lotta work in it, now want to fix the frame, one hell of a headache this will be, just wanted to know if there are any differences between the 87-90 frames, and specifically if my 88 will take an 87 frame.

thanks alot,
chris

You can swap 88-90 frames but 87 you cannot. The a-arms are totally different and will not work at all.

you could weld in tabs to use the 88 arms in the 87 frame, or get a set of upper 87 a arms. other than that everything will swap

does anyone make a cromoly frame for these. I bent my too but, it's not too bad and I can still ride it. it would be nice to have the steering alignment right again and a lighter frame.
