New Shocks or rebuilt????

I am wondering if i should just buy new front and rear shocks or have them rebuilt? i was looking at ekla if i go new unless it is just as good to have them rebuilt. So if any one knows a good place to get them rebuilt on the east side of michigan let me know thanks....awsome website by the way.....

The fronts are not serviceable. The rear is. The rear is a good shock made by showa. I rebuilt mine and it rocks. buy new for the front. Teh bike is a big one so dont go cheap. You are gunna need a good set. If you have the money go works. Even if you go used they will be cheaper to rebuild than buying a new set. Good luck and happy roosting.

the fronts are rebuildable. but the seals are priced astronamical. well atleast the ones i found. and aren't worth it to fix. alot of people don't know they are, so they trash them.

i have works, and really don't care for them, but they are better then my blown stockers! i have tripple rates with rezzies, and compresion rebound, best works you can get for the 500.

alot of shock shops can rebuild the rear, and revalve it for you. i recently bought an elka for my rear shock.
