60 pilot, needle in the middle, 178 main, 110 oct 927 30 to 1 210 compression, SCR ported, damn good carb for midrange!! didnt loose any bottom end, still have a 38 PJ to get rid of.
Be a fun carb for a 250

Cant remember my needle , damn I suffer from CRS

i asked this, as mine is breaking up in the midrage, and also bogs on the top when i get on the throttle hard. i had a fmf ram valve but put in a stock cage with new boyesen cheapo reeds, it seems to be a bit better now. had a 190 main in it, but was too rich, went back down to a 182. pilot is a 60 and the needle is in the middle. but it still breaks up a bit in the midrange

hello- have a problem. when trying to kick start lt500 it sometimes backfires then ater still not starting the muffler is smoking hot. anybody know why, or what i can do to improve the hard time at kick starter? appreciate any help i can get.

Try and up the idle jet. Mine was too small and it kept backfiring. Once I raised it to a 55, starting was much easier. -Mark
