High Octane

Looking For Any Info On High Octane Gas For This Weekend. What Would You Guy's Run In Your's? 108 Or 100 Low Lead Airplane Fuel. And What Would You Mix The Ratio Too?? 20:1/32:1/36:1/40:1?? Will Running High Octane Do Any Damage To My Baby?

its a zilla......AV100LL at mimimum is a necessity.....108 or 110 race fuel is better yet, especially if your head has factory squish clearance

Personally I run AV100LL and Amsoil Dominator premix oil at 40:1, but most of the zilla afficianados recommend Castor 927 at 32:1

the higher octane fuel won't do any harm other than your wallet. =) more times than not with a zilla, the higher the octane the better

110 with amsoil dominator 32:1. A 500 shouldn't be run without race gas. They will run ok without it, but its just added stress on the crank and bearings.

just switched to av gas from torco and its a hell of alot cheaper and it runs just as good but Ill probly still run torco 110 in the nos shee just to get the extra octane so I dont have to worry about pre ignition.
