the 700's rapterds are a bit faster than the older version... if hes cammed and piped i imagine it will be close or hell beat you ,personaly i think a newer yfz450 is the fastest bone stock proudction quad that iv'e ridden ,go race then post the results

the quickest out of all the 450's and 660's and 700's ive rode, (all being only piped) id have to say the yfz 450 was the quickest, once u get it revved up, they like to rev high and be ridden hard, 700's have alot of tourque and like to be short shifted and lugged, but they have no top end at all. once they hit 4th gear, a good runnin piped banshee will start walking away, this is what ive seen in mny experiences

i rode with an 04 yfz450 and one of the 07 bill balance yfz450s the other day. the 04 was piped and had a filter, and he walked all over the 07 even though the 07 is supposed to beat the 04 with a pipe. i didn't race either one on pavement, just on some side by side hills...the 05 wasn't too far behind me, but i didn't have too much trouble beating him with the shee thanks to denny

Its just a traction game to see who wins. If you could launch a zilla and actually hook without flipping I would place money on the zilla.

if your zilla is stock...it'll be close....if youve got any portwork, and can get it out of the hole anywhere near well, you'll win. a buddy of mine has a piped cammed YFZ and I have him by 3 or 4 bikes in about 5-600 feet
