Default Fuel Milage

I have a friend that just picked up a 89 zilla. He wants too do some trail riding with me on my 350x, but he was wondering what kind of milage he will get on a tank. It looks like its pretty much stock except for the dg exhaust. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I tried to use the search engine for the site but it does not work for me. Thank you.

zilla don't do that great on fuel... my buddy has a ported zilla and the thig just drinks gas... esepcially in dunes or when we are out flattrackin.. it would last a little longer in trails.. but it does drink it down rather quick...

A stock zilla, with only a DG pipe will go for a while on the trail, depending how fast your going,

I remember getting 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hours out of a full tank trail riding /duning stock with a PTR pipe. riding flat out that will go down considerably, same if it's heavily modded - with a stock pipe and jetting they're not that bad.

But compared to a honda four stroke - they suck alot of gas the guy with the 350X will probably have a half tank left when your going dry - just keep an eye on it

Range could be pretty far because you can cover alot of ground fast - I say 50~80mi on a tank

I'd say it's less than that (50-80) i went on a 100 mile ride (110 on gps)with a lt250r and at 40 miles it was hitting res and that was all real mild riding at part throttle well it took full tank from the start and 5 gal at the end i was on res pulling in so for lt250 ~7.5=110mi 14.6mpg on a very mild ride I'll bet the zilla gets around 7mpg for a mild ride
