still before you try to start it do a pressure leak down test !!!!!
compression test will only tell you the rings are sealing not if you have an air leak that will destroy your motor !!!!!
if you havent put the cyl on yet go order both power valve o rings on the right side one behind the bearing one on the outside used they usually leak on a leak down test

In talking more to a friend of mine, I have decided to stirp it down again. Going to replace the crank seals, put new rings on it. Also need to wash out the bottom end with some gas or something to make sure everything is clean and no residule crap in the bottom end. Where exactly would I find the powervalve o-rings you are talking about. I might as well repace them while I am at it.

ther like a dollar part at dealers cheap money, a builder showed me to use 2 "O" rings on the Powervalve, there is enough room and was twice the pertection from a air leak.
