I have a set of maier plastics on one of my bikes. They are very flexible, which can be good or bad, and they didn't even come close to fitting.

I went with red and black and its ok but I think the classic yellow and blue are still my favorites. Maier is the only choice I have seen unless you go oem but those are stupid pricey

they are damn expensive! And I was pissed when I set them on the bike and saw how NONE of the holes lined up! There are other members who have bought maiers and said they fit fine, good for them but my experience has soured me to the point of never buying another product from them. Oem are generally thicker and personally if I couldn't find the color plastics I wanted from them I sure as shit wouldn't paint anything made by them.

I don't think they will ever give me any kind of sponsorship deals anytime in the future.......

they fit like crap. the fronts don't line up, theres a space between the front and rear, also the fronts stick out father than the rear, by the tank and catch my pants. but there pretty flexable and won't break easy, which is a plus. and you can get a bunch of different colors.

if you want nice fitting plastics, buy oem fenders. there worth it.

I recently bought a set of Maier rears. They do not compare well to the OEM fenders. My major complaint is that the kick start indent on the Maier fender is much smaller than on the OEM fender. I would think your heel will end up hitting the plastic more often when you start it.

I didn't even bother trying to install it. I bought a pair of OEM fenders instead and I will be returning the Maier product or selling them on ebay.

If I was replacing fenders often, I would probably save my money and go with the Maier fenders. If you want a color other than yellow, then Maier is the way to go.

If you are trying to restore the quad to the original look, then OEM is the only choice.

$182 w/S&H for the Maier rears
$260 +S&H for the OEM rears

Default maier plastics

I just bought a full set of plastics for my zilla. I went through Zmperformance.com Cost me $480 shipped. They dont make the color of hood i want so im scuffing and painting the hood myself. painting the plastics is cake. All you do is red scuff your plastic. Shoot Flexible sealer. Spray your base(color),Than Clear them. But the trick is to mix your sealer where its flexible and same as your clear. I do this for a living. Im a body and paint tech. No diffrent than spraying a bumper cover on a car.
