| here you go! i have no idea what year this is from, i sure am a lot of help they are different but i dont know which is whichTransmission ratios: primary 2.142 (60/28), 5th 0.909 (20/22), 4th 1.100 (22/20), 3rd 1.333 (24/18), 2nd 1.733 (26/15), 1st 2.416 (29/12), final 3.076 (40/13) |

| If I remember correctly, 1st thru 4th were the same on both setups, the 5th was the different one, the 87 had a higher (numerically lower) 5th than the 88-90's. The final drive was also different, I think the 87's used a 13/42 sprocket set, and the 88-90's used a 13/40 setup from the factory. Stock for stock, neither one is very much different speed wise, even though the higher 5th on the 87's should mean more top speed, they (suzuki) geared it out with the 2 tooth bigger rear sprocket. I would imagine the 2 different gear sets "feel" different to ride though. I bet suzuki felt that the ratio between 4th and 5th was too wide on the 87's, so they changed the trans ratio to get them closer, and changed the sprocket ratio to keep the speed.

| thanks for the info i am going to be tearing apart my cases again to change the crank rod and bearing but i still need to know if the 87 counter ballencer will work in the 90 cases tho
