If setup correctly I kinda doubt it would, with a slip on and a K&N they dynoed at over 45hp. Now thats not a lot for the CC but, they also had 43lb of torque which is quite a bit of grunt. So if that grunt could be harnessed it should beat a little bit better running banshee than a piped one.

Having the monster torque at low RPM's, you'd sure think they could throw down some beating to alot of bikes. One of our new riding buddies has one of the 700's, albeit completely stock. Another one has a built 686 (cam, porting, ti-rod, piston, etc). They both get consistently beat by piped 450's. The 450's have such a wide powerband with respect to the Raptors, that they are just easier to ride and be sloppy on. I hear Raptors just gurgling and gurgling on the rev limiters, with the riders trying to squeeze every available RPM out of them, rather than grab another gear and let the motor work.

Personally, I can't stand the powerband of those raptors. Myself, I like a motor that rev's. I always compare the raptors to a diesel engine.

I was out at the dunes today, on my BLASHEE WARRINE (thats a cross between a blaster, banshee, warrior and wolverine).

Anyhow, this little rich punk with some horny ass hippy-yuppee type parents. (they were there egging him on too) pulls up along side of me with his tricked out Crapter 700R (with more bling-bling than puff daddy) ...and says "hows it hanging?" "wanna race or sumptin.. dude" So , my responce is sure...only if your willing to shoot that hill over there for titles bro! After he glances over at his parents, i see them fukers givin him the thums up!!! So, Im like HELL YA BRO! LETS GET THIS MUTHA STARTED!

This punk then proceeds to tell me, i have to wait a few minutes while he gets his gear on.........

after about 20 min, this QUEER BAIT pulls up to the line with some assless chaps a helmet and a chest protector.....AND THATS IT!!! I told him after i win his Craptor 700R he can keep the seat!!
Its was about 110 degrees out and i just know his butt cheaks were sweating like a MOFO all over that seat in thoes assless chaps....

So, we fire up the quads and wait for the green light THERES HISSING AND REVING AND ALL SORTS OF ENGINE NOISE...then the green light hits!! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHAAAAA.... we both get a good start, were neck and neck, then the little puke bag hits some NITROUS !!

Im like- HOLY BALLS!! THAT LITTLE SHIT IS PACKING JUICE!!.... hes about 2 quads ahead of me with the finnish line in sight, when i pull out my secret weapon...WHAM!!... I go flyin right past this guy and win the race!!!

He comes over to me after the race with his title and says " BRO, THATS ONE BAD ASS BLASHEE WARRINE YOU GOT! Do you have nitrous on the bitch also?" I replied ....Naw i just turned on the 2nd carb Bitch!

So now i have a BLASHEE WARRINE 700R.
