| Now, I never said: "that Denton always rode a Suzuki." I said; "that he won championships on one." I have added a screen shot of his web page where I got the information I posted earlier On which is a photo where he is standing beside a TRX250R. I also did not say, "I had riden a zilla at 99 mph" I said; "That I was stupid enough when I was young to try to get a zilla to go 99mph it's reported top speed." All you have to do is reread it. This is the exact reason internet forumns get a bad name, I just posted my opinion. then somebody make a "goofy" comment. All I did was lay down some facts and intresting bits of information and somebody misquotes what I said. The reported speeds of 99 MPH were on a 1/4 mile flat track during racing. Clocked from beginning of straight to end of straight. I never personally saw this happen but; I did read the article in Dirt Wheels. In the area I live, we had during the 1980's on the outskits of a little city called Van buren A place called "Steer Palace USA". It was originally an indoor rodeo arena, they used to pack the dirt every other friday night and race flat track in it. There were speeds in excess of 90mhp in there. They had a radar gun set up along the front straight with a large readout the crowd could see. Believe what you will, I am just posting information on a subject that intrest me. I am not the kind of person who cares if you believe me or not. If you like to have an honest discussion that's fine, if not that's fine also.

| Don't take it personal. It's the nature of the beast to question anytime higher than average numbers or specific info is layed out. Some people say "neat, can I have a copy of that article?" Others say "Yeah, whatever" and yet others say "you're full of shit and don't know what you're talking about". It all basically means the same thing. And no matter who you are you'll get flak when posting info that someone else has a different version of. |

| You know I stopped checking this forum for an answer to my question about what LT means some time after 3 pages of some good ideas and mostly crap. But, I must admit that it was interesting to see how one question could prevoke so many people. But thanks for some of the ideas that I thought were creative, and piss on the flamers!

| Hey, yall battling about the LT250r vs. TRX250r vs. Quadzilla, you should be happy you got one of them! I have to borrow my buddies 88 trx250r ( which isnt half bad!) just to ride a 2 smoker. I guess that will all change when i get a job. The retards decided to cancell my last interview after i wasted my whole saturday taking a damn test. Oh well. Im thinking LT stands for Lapping Thumpers, but hey, what do I know. |
