| if anyone could give me a run down on jetting........when to rejet, why, what jets to use when, anything that might be able to help me out. general stuff would be fine but if it helps i have a 86 lt250 any help would be great Thanks Todd |

| thanks for the reply im having a hard time starting the bike and the top end doesnt hit that hard and sometimes it kinda dies out a severe lose in power. i wouldnt tell you what size jetts are in there now. it does have a fmf gold series header and power core silencer. it also has a k&n filter in the stock airbox, the engine is also bored 60 over. i hope this will help you help me..haha if you know of anywhere i can get some info to read up on or anything let me know i just want to get this thing running right. | Does the bike backfire when you try to kick it? Or when you putting around does it load up and want to foul the plug. Based on your mods and bore size, IF the jets are stock I say your alittle on the lean side. When your riding pretty hard and get off the gas does the rpms kinda hang for a second then start to go down? If so that's lean. Let me know. -Mark
