Default need help with lt 80

i have my kids lt 80 and the problem am having is that it only runs with the choke up and will not go wot.i check the float, what else can it be?thanks in advance.

a few things...........

Pull and clean the carb. Pull it completely apart, not just pull the bowl off.

Replace the intake gasket.

Clean or replace the air filter.

did you let it sit for a period of time without draining the carb? fuel as a tendency to turn to varnish and plug up the carb. clean out the carb and maybe even rebuild it.
