Question Zilla LT500R Power Valve

I have had numerious problems with the power valve assembly on my 89 Zilla. I am looking at removing the assembly all together. Does anyone know if a block off plate is made for it. I have heard of people locking the power valve closed. Has anyone locked the powere valve closed. I don't need low end torque I ride in wide open areas. Thanks....

I haven't heard of a plate that a company makes. But couldn't you just disconnect the arm that opens/closes it? That way you can leave it open. ???? -Mark

Mark- Well the way it sits now is the rod is disconnected. At high RPM's it now stumbles alot because it is not rotating for High RPM's. Could I just rotate the power valve?

Dave, You could physically rotate it but don't know if it would stay in that position. I believe that the arm actually holds it open/closed pending on the rpms. But still give it a shot. -Mark
