i use b8es's in mine only because they cost 2 bucks and the egv costs 6. when it fouls out ( jetting is a tad rich ) i stick in a champion lawn mower plug that is probably 15 years old and it also kicks right over. It is a really small plug that reaches less than a quarter inch in the head, and it runs really rich on the top end, but no matter what i do that thing will not foul. I wish i could find a real plug that wouldn't foul like that old thing. Im gonna try one of the EIX after i get my bike jetted correctly with the ES's.

i shouldnt have said eix dont foul ,because they can ,its just that its very hard to foul one ,you really have to be off to be fouling irridiums IMO. irridums run crisp at low-midand then seem to run a tad lean on top. also its very hard to read jetting accuratly on iridums, they dont color the same as es series . all in all if your fouling plugs your rich or your burning tranny oil, a well tuned bike shouldnt be fouling anyplugs and simply switching to a hotter plug is like putting cool whip on a pile of dog shit, ....its still not right!!

The reason why the EIX dont foul as easily is because of the very small, very hard center electrode. They provide a very good, concentrated spark to just about the same point everytime, which inturn prevents carbon build up. Because of the very hard Iridium material, you can also run a smaller gap with out having to worry about eating up the electrode as you would with an ES or such. I personally have never fouled an EIX while I was riding (knock on wood), and hope for it to stay that way. The EIX in my CR250 has about 300 hours on it and besides minor discoloration, the center electrode looks as good as the day I removed it from the box.
