| Hey fella's, Im a new guy on this site. Well, not new to the site just new to becoming a member of the site. Anyways I was curious if any of you know how well the Skat-Trak Taller Haulers work. Do any of you have them on your quads? Ive heard that they work pretty well for the holeshot but not so good in the top end mark. Is this true? What sand tires have worked the best on your quads? I ask because Im looking in to buying a new set of sand Tires for my Zilla. I have 21x12x8 Sand Skate I's(8 paddle) on right now but there isnt enough paddle on them for the amount of power I have in the bike. I seem to be spinning my tires more than going forward. If any of you could give me some insite of my current situation, I would really appreciate it. Ohh, one more question. Do any of you know who or where I can buy a pod air filter from for my zilla. thanks, T3Quadzillaracer |

but I know how the straight and curved paddles work in the sand and I know what they are designed to do. I could care less about turning in the sand as I like to hill climb and drag race most of the time while at the dunes. Thats why Im looking into the "Taller Hallers". The paddles I have now, are what came with the zilla. Again have you or anyone heard anything about the taller haulers? Are they good, bad, or what? But I have heard good things about the Hauler Extreme, dont get me wrong there a great paddle to. And just to clarify, what do you mean by a "short tire", im not familiar with this term? | I think what 370 is trying to say is go with a low profile tire kinda like what you find on cars. I like them better because they have less side wall flex and they just look better if you ask me.

| ok heres what i meant by shorter tire. get the 20x11x10 instead of 22x11x10. the 20's will let you take off faster in the sand due to a better final drive ratio. then as your engine speed increases the tire will get taller and skinnier. being that your a duner you probaly already know this but i tried to include as more info tahn you needed incase somebody else was looking into paddles. so the stright vs checked thing was just some common knowledge for everyone. plus i wanted to look smart lol |
