Default head/tail light problems..no regulator

I bought my quad and it had a cheap pair of fogs and a led marker light for lights on it. I worked really well for about three days of ridding now I cant keep bulbs in it. I pulled it apart and it has no regulator. I am planning on going ridding this weekend and night time is the funnest on the dunes here in Colorado. I was wondering if there was a alternative, maybe something from radio shack or a car maybe?... I need help ASAP please

Thanks in advance...

Jeff

hey yea i got that problem with my tecate. i put like a 55watt headlight on it and a taillight with dual 15 watt bulbs and the stator is only like 80watts i think and it wont stop blowing them out. what im thinking is that the regulator is bad but im not 100% sure, any advise would be helpful.
