Default 06' LT 80 Oil Injection Question

HI and thanks for your help! On my son's LT80 I would like to DISCONNECT the injection. The only Question is what to do with the injection unit in the motor? I can't just put a cap on the intake and output because the motor is still spinning and creating vacuum ? Do I pull out the injection motor and make a block off plate?

You can cap off the lines or make a block-off plate. Both will work just fine. Block-off plates just make things cleaner looking (in theory, kinda hard behind a cover) and lighter according to racers (every little bit helps in the long run). It's also one less thing dragging on the whole of the rotating mass when removed. The best reason above all others is being able to CHOOSE which oil and at what ratio you use. Amsoil or Klotz 50:1 in an injected engine doesnt work very well.

you aren't supposed to run synthetic in a oil injected motor. I have 2 lt80's and one is bored 30 over and its ported with a dg pipe on it. We just caped the oil injection pump and i run Bel Ray MC-1 in it at 50:1 which is one 12.8 oz bottle to 5 gallons of gas.

Is'nt it bad just to cap it while it will still have vacuume on that cap?

You can take the clutch cover off, remove the black plastic gear from the front clutch (which is what drives your pump) and put the clutch cover back on. This disconnects your oil pump.
