| I have heard of people doing this not sure how much weight it saves but I have heard of racers doing this before. Now how much weight does it shave for the cost of helium and having to fill your tires. My guess is it would be worth trying and seeing how much weight you save and how long they stay filled. Let us know if anyone trys this.

| i dont think it's the air that make the weight of the tire...but the air pressure(PSI) in the tire...my guess is , you would still have the same air pressure, so the same weight....THIS IS ONLY A GUESS....I DONT KNOW SCAT ABOUT PHYSICS. |

| Well helium is combustable, so if its under pressure in your tire, and somehow a spark or high heat gets to it? kabooooom. so i wouldn't recommend using helium, |

| Just dont ride on pavement lol. I'm pretty sure that helium would make your tires lighter if you used the same AIR psi as you used Helium PSI. SO if you have 45 PSI compressed air and 45 PSI Helium... the Helium is going to be lighter. Look at it like a ballon. Ballons filled with helium float because the helium inside them is lighter than the air outside them. Therefor your tires would be lighter and more prone to floating depending on how many PSIs you put in them.
