Default No fuel flow!

I recently rebuilt my top end. After going as far as splitting the case, and putting it back together according to the book, it wont start because there is no fuel being pulled into the cylinder. I know this because the new plug i put in is still clean/dry after kicking it over about 20 times. I also rebuilt the carb with new gaskets and a needle valve. All the seals were fine when i took the engine apart and i used the proper sealant on the case halves. Does anyone have any suggestions besides a pressure test that the suzuki shop told me i should have them do? If so please reply or email me. Thanks

please tell me you used all new gaskets when you torn everything down..
If not you should do a pressure test.

Like is the boot around the carb a tight fit? the reed cage sealed off good?
the motor has to draw a vacum to suck the fuel out of the carb, if there are and leaks it can not do so.
have you run a compression test on it to make sure the rings are set and have a good seal?

This may be kind of a dumb assumtion, if you did do everything exactly by the book then this isn't an issue, but did you put the piston in facing the correct direction? If the ports in the piston arent in line with the intake, then you won't suck in any gas....I think...

Stupid question here but is the gas on????? I have be know for forgeting to turn it on a few times. and sometimes when i tear mine down i have to turn the gas on and then conect it to the carb to get the gas flowing the first time it is all hooked back up. Just a few ideas.

I have had the same problem with my lt's. It always seems to be the hose is not routed right. Grab a cup and disconnect the line to the carb and set it in the cup straight down from the tank. Turn the gas on reserve and see if there is flow. If there is enough gas coming out now then you may have to shorten or lengthen the fuel line to reroute it. If not then there may be a problem with your petcock not letting the fuel out. I have had it go both ways.

my 125 did that when my friend still had it. Try dumping a bit of gas down the plug hole and see if it starts. That worked for him a few times and when I got it and rebuilt the whole motor and whole bike basically it hasnt ever done it again. Also if you just rebuilt your carb... are you sure that you have the needle adjuster screws where theyre supposed to be and not all the way in?
