Alcohol

I would like to mod my 87 Quadzilla to run on alcohol. Anyone know a good kit or company to start my search? Looking for more power.

Most people I have seen run alcohol in a Zilla use a Lectron Carb and you will need to get a cool head. Besides that I am not sure what else you would have to do.

Lectron carbs are distributed by who. Web site? I know that mods to the crank connecting rod and fuel lines as well as the carb are needed as the volume of alcohol is nearly twice gas. Any additional help would be greatly appreciated.

Why do you need to mess with the crank and connecing rod to run alcohol?

call and tal;k to FTZ racing. they will point you in the right direction. i;d say your gonna need a carb and porting for sure. other than that a cool head would probably be a good idea. but as for lower end mods none of that is needed as far as i know.

I thank you guys for the info so far although I have searched the web and found no kits although I have read that the compression needs to be increased more than you can do with a shorter head. Also I understand that the fuel lines need to be increased in size to accomidate nearly double the volume of alcohol vs gas. Thereby requiring carb work of course. Any additional help would be most appreaciated
