Is this something I should look at?

Hey guys, I just found a 1983 Suzuki LT125 for 150 bucks. I want a little quad for my 5 year old. Is this something I should get and can I get parts for it? It runs, but has some issues, but for 150, is it worth it?

even if it only ran a month and you threw it away(and didnt part it out) id consider 150 a good deal. do you expect someone to tell you 150 isnt a good deal?


Bike Bandit shows parts for it so yeah im sure you can get parts (probably expensive though).


Id look at it this way, even if it blew uo your not out alot.

i don't think they have suspension, just drop the pressure in the tires. i used to have one, kicked ass in the snow i put rediculously big tires on it lol. what issues is it having? There is always parts on ebay for everything.

nope, they don't have suspension. A buddy of mine has one for his little bros and it had some front spindle and wheel bearing issues, he was able to get what he needed for it.

I was just offered a deal like that. 85 honda big red 200 for $200. The kid that I would buy it off of doesn't know anything about anything buy I know that the motor has been rebuilt in the last year. It runs fine and the only thing wrong with it is that it leaks a little oil. Probably justs needs new gaskets or some bolts tightened.
