87 lt250r clutch cover probs

i was working on my waterpump and found that where the clutch cable threads into on the clutch cover was jimmy rigged very poorly, then 5 minutes later i ended up breaking it off somehow. i now have a clutch cover with no mount for the clutch cable. i was wondering how hard it would be to simply weld something back onto it, and call it good, or if any one had a clutch cover for a 87 that they would want to get rid of.

Nacs racing makes a replacement bracket for that the lt250's are known for the clutch cable thing breaking off. it happend to mine also, i have it zip tied on there now , i haven't gotten around to ordering one yet, i think they are around $30-$40.

hey lanny i showed my dad the nacs replacement bracke and me and him are going to just make or own pretty much the same as that and see what that does for us
