You just bolt it onto the carb it will fit right over the carb and use a clamp to secure it on there. I would stay away from the K&N just because I have had lots of issues with them in the past. Also I have seen them let in some nasty stuff. I would look at a foam style filter with an outerwear.

I have never used the amsoil one to know how it works, because somebody never gave me one to test out....hint, hint....j/k I have a filter and it works great when I need a new one I will hit you up for one.

they make then in all bends an lenghts. i saw teh clamp on for the first time on a 89 LT250R. so they maek one and i believe it was a 6in long stright one. oh yeah jaos as for the filter. i'll take care of it when your ready!!!!

ok well i need to find a company who makes them. I also need to bore my piston, get a 60 over piston and a new carb and my bike will be back in the dirt!

amsoil mke those. i can gt you a price if you'd like. oh yeah a piston kit is easy to find just call any dealer, parts warehouse. and grab one your looking at bout $75 for that. then to get a bore donp;t go to the dealer they are way too much $$$$$ go to a regular machine shop and ehy do a bike cyl. for about $30. oh yeah i;ve foudn that wisecos run a bit better if you tighten up the piston to wall clearance. i think that wiseco says to use .005-.008 if you use about .003-.004 your gonna like it more that way.
