Ok everyone pitch in. HELP

ok my piston melted ok. Well the number on the piston said 1.25mm. Am i going to be able to bore it out any more? What would be the next size up?

yeah 1.25 is only the 5th over size. you can punch it out to 1.50 mm or .060in

is it good enough you can hone it out??? or you gonna need a bore??? remeber that a score in teh cyl. is bad for rings

yeah it is going to need a bore. itd hard to see but you can feel it. after this whole top end is done my bike should be a runner. i am going with a 39mm pwk carb, airbox eliminator (if i can find someone who makes one) with all the mods i got done now it should really be a bada$$ machine. LRD ported the sh*t out od my cylinder!

just use a clamp on filter. amsoil makes foam ones. i can get a price on one for you if you'd like or check out K&N's

clamp it on the carb or is there a kit for the boot were the airbox would of been
