88 and 92 question?

is the 1988 frame diffrent from the 1992 frame. I noticed that the air box on the 88 that is for sale in the classifieds has a straight tube that goes into the carb instead of a curved tube on mine that goes around the shock?

the 91-92 frame has the shock design like you'd see on a shee for example(linkages are probably different but the same basic concept), and the 85-90 has the cusion leeever.

does anyone have a picture of there bike were they made the design better???
