| My 250 is .40 over and ported and it has a 280 or 290 main jet(can't remember). If at 1/4 throttle, does it feel responsive? If you have any work done to it you may need to go up on the main jet like ltracer said. If it doesn't kick back or idle high leave the idle jet alone. Try that and see if it works. -Mark

| Last nite i rebuilt the carb and replaced the pilot jet (i went up a few sizes to a 45) i put my fmf fatty pipe on and now this thing kicks ass ever since i bought it it has never felt like this as far as the engine i think its still stock but now when i hit the throttle it will burn the tires and i have itp mudlites brand new im going out to do plug test now. Thanx for the help

| i musta missed this thread somehow til now. anyway problems idle-1/4 throttle are a pilot issue and 3/4-WOT problems are main jet issues Last edited by 370banshee; 02-01-2005 at 10:32 PM. |

| Everything is just sweet i can't believe the difference the only thing left to do is the idle but thats easy i did however foul the plug but i mixed the gas with too much oil when it was running like shit just because i didnt want to blow it up Thanx to everyone for their help it is wicked fast now
