what year suzuki Rm 85??

Just picked this bike up yesterday kid claims its a 03 or 02 rm 85 i have looked them up and it doesnt look like to 03 or 02 looks more like a 2000 rm. But did they make an rm 85 in 2000? got it for 300 bucks so not really too worried just would liek to knwo the year so when i need parts. It is stuck in liek 4th gear he said runs mint though.

check the numbers on the frame.
Judgeing by the look of the seat
and tank, im guessing its older
than 2000.

hey thanks that helped a lot. I checked the vin and the tenth digit is a 1 and according to that it would mean its a 2001. I am goona look into it more though. But thanks a lot.
