whats the impeller beacause theres a thing i think that goes to the cooling and it feels pretty loose but im not sure yet what it is

my water pump shaft came out in 9 pieces haha. well miens gettign a new mech. seal, oil seal and shaft (comes with bearing). my bolt and impeller are still tip top. get used to it. suzuki water pumps suck ass. haha.

Only coolant leaks out of the weep hole. Am i wrong but doesnt the mechanical seal and oil seal prevent oil from getting past the impellar and mixing with the coolant.

well yeah and visa versa but......... if it build too much pressure in taht housing or if it puddles up in the house or a boil over or wahtever. if theres no place to go because the weep hole id JBed shut it;s gonna blow out the mech seal, and oil seal. and then you get milkshake oil in your gearbox

Does anyone know any tricks to get the old mechanical seal off of the shaft. Mine is stuck real good. The spring came out but the metal casing is still connected to the shaft. Any help would be appreciated. thanks
