Default lt250 questions, what fits help!

ok im really in need of rebuilding my 1986 LT250r i really want new arms preferably +3+1 or whatever i can find wider actually. i wouldn like a new axle also that is +4 or 2+2. also i really want nerfs too, i was wondering if any honda 250r parts would work on my bike also like longer shocks or a arms cause some where i saw a honda 250 with LT a arms and 16" shocks. the stock 12.5" shocks for an LT arnt going to work i want to really be able to race this one. also do your LT's leak gas cause whenever mine is on it will leak i beleive it only leaks what in the float bowl out but not srue let me know what i can do to fix this and also is 183 compresion pretty good for a brand new rebuilt top and bottom end?
THANKS ALOT

Not sure what arms would fit the 86. I have an 87 and I am putting the Magnum Pro national +2 +0. talk to Flattrack they might make them for the 86. I think if you go more than +2 your going to be to wide to race, not sure if that matters. As for the axle you should look for a Lonstar and they come +4 +2 which means the axle is +2 wider and it comes with spacers that you put either before or after the hub to make it +4 or +2.

If your leaking out your bowl it means your float is stuck you should look at a rebuild kit. Not sure what the compression is supposed to be but i am sure someone can answer that for you. Sound like your compression should be fine.

ok i was also wondering if i could put everything from a 1986 lt250r and pt it onto a 1990 lt250r frame since these frames have better shocks mounts for increased travel. what exactly is the difference between these frames and how muc travel should i expect? also what could i do to make an Lt250r Use 16" honda250r shocks up front?

Thanks a lot for all the help in advance
