this i'm nto exactly sure on?? do you know if the plugs are teh same?? if you have one and the plugs are teh same plug it in and see if it runs. if it runs test ride ti to see how well it runs... thats all i can say to do. if your buyign a new CDI then i'd look for a 85-86. unless you pick up a 87-up on one hell of a steal

yeah i had a friend tell me itd been about that. I found one off a 89 for probably about $40. I would like to get it but i'm afraid it won't work.
