| Hey, I wanted to know from you guys what pipe & sil. is the best for power and riding around not drag? I have a k&n air filer and ported cylinder. I was looking at Trinity's Stage IV, Paul Turner or FMF. Which one I do not know. Need help. ![]() |

| I didn't see the ported cylinder at first. The FMF pipe may not be your best choice for your engine mods. My bike is 90% stock so the FMF works great for me. You'll probably be better off with the cobra or LRD personally. Sparkzilla's 500 (he traded it) is pretty heavily modded, (ported, head milled for 112 octane, lightened flywheel, boostported piston, reeds) and I think he said the cobra pipe was the best one he came across.

| I have the FMF setup and it's pretty good for midrange rpms. But Looking at the shape of the Paul Turner I can see that it will move more air and faster. If I had my choice(and unlimited money) I'd get the Paul Turner. -Mark

| Stay away from FMF on a zilla. I honestly didnt notice any difference over stock. I did try a few pipes and I think the Pual Turner, CT Racing, and Cobra (yes Cobra) all worked the best. I have had good luck with Trinity stuff, but I don't know about there zilla pipes. Good luck!!

| what about DG?? hahahahahahahahaha seriously though i have been seeign alto of quads that FMF just don;t work on very well. i have heard the "not much over stock comment about a few quads. zilla, T4, and banshee. the banshee one i know isn;t totally true but........... there is definate room for improvement |

| Thanks for clearing that up for me too. I knew the FMF pipe ends up being more for the bling factor, they really doo look nice, but thats about all they do. If I ever get that LRD pipe I'mn supposed to be getting shipped, maybe I'll try that out.

| I don't know that I have ever heard of a bad LRD pipe either. I do have to admit that the FMF gnarlies were killer low/mid pipes on my shee but the FMF sucked ass on the zilla. I don't remember the name right now, but there is one pipe that people say is awsome on the zilla. The problem besides me not remembering the maker of it is that it isn't made anymore.
