ok u need to get an OHM meter. then check the wires like this


Stator Test

Lighting 0.5-1.0 Ohm Wires Y/R & B/W

Source 315-475 Ohm WIres B/R & R/W

Pick up 175-265 Ohm Wires BL & B/W


Lighting Coil Output

(Light switch OFF)
Above 12v @ 3000 RPM
Below 18v @ 8000 RPM

Regulated Voltage
(Light switch ON)
13-14v @ 5000 RPM

Coil E-03 Us Model E-24 Austrilia Model E-28 Canada Model

E-03, 24 + Terminal to ground 0-1 Ohm

+ Terminal to Plug cap 3-5000 Ohm


E-28 + Terminal to ground 0-1 Ohm

+ Terminal to plug cap 13-15000 Ohm
