clutch wont engage ??????????

how cold was it? i have clutch problems when it is extremley cold. the clutch don't like snow and ice

well id say it was around 16 degrees maybe less bcauseit was nighttime and i let the bike warm up if that makes any difference o and by the way where can i get an avatar like that lol

maybe its a stretched, or fraying cable. when i first got my kx the clutch didn't work all the way it would die when i shifted into first, turned out to be a badly frayed cable, I would just rev it up when i shift. i did buy a new cable the next day.

so is there tension like normal or does it feel different than it did last time you rode it? when you pull the clutch does the clutch arm move down on the motor? also try moving the clutch arm with your hand?

idk about the normal tension because i jus got this bike and i jus this was when i was gonna ride it for the first time but yeah there is tension on the clutch arm so im pretty sure the clutcharm on the motor is moving

possibly grooved basket? or if it has that 2 rods and a ball setup maybe they welded themselves together...saw that once on a blaster not too pretty...
