Round slides usually dont work the best on a two stroke, but Im sure it would work.

round slides do work on2 strokes just fine problem is they dont respond all that great on big bore sized carbs like this .roundslides are old low tech carb designs (circa late 60's snowmobiles)on the blaster and banshee round slide mikunis work great ,but they are 26mm bigger isnt always better,yo uwant a badass zilla carb?
get a new keihin 38mm airstryker d slide ,Flattrack on this site sells them for an awesome price,id pm him, hes built some nice bikes with these carbs ,dont get a roundslide get a d slide airstryker look up keihin site youll see why theyre kickass design ,they have these airfoil wings that shoot air over the needle for killer response!

What late 60s snowmobiles used Mikuni?? The only sleds ive ever seen from the late 60s/very early 70s all used whalboros, tillotsons and a select few used the early staged mikunis. You could also buy a mikuni flatslide carb if the lectron/kehin carb dont work out for you.

im just mocking its old ass design and comparing it to old round slide mono carb sleds of 1960s, flatslides work nice d slide gives the best of both worlds though

I used to think the same thing. Airstryker all the way but I like the hell out of my FTZ Mikuni booster carb. How modded is your 5? If its still mostly stock the 38 stryker of a 39 pwk would be good but otherwise they are kinda small. Lectron makes some nice bigger carbs, and FTZ has some nice bigger mikunis. Its damn hard to beat the the keihn for the money though.
