Exclamation serious engine probs !!!

hey wanted to say hi seems like an awesome forum as well i have hit some major probs ready to throw a pipe bomb in my gas tank haha but i have a 91 rm 125 i bought a wiseco top end kit an it lacked the gasket kit which i found out is supose have simple instructions they got me all my gaskets an i thought i had it in all right it was all pretty much self explanatory i got it to fire 1 time 4 about 3 seconds now its a no go an is the arrow on the piston supose to point to the front or away from exhaust ?? an is there anything i could possibly be missing ?? i got the 2 new i noticed a water pump gasket an an metal ring an a real thick gasket didnt notice them anywhere when i tore the head down any help thanx !!!

i think the arrow should go to the exhaust, thats the way the blasters are

yeah, arrow points toward the exhaust. Thick gasket is probably for the exhaust, where the head pipe connects to the cylinder

thanx for the help got the piston turned around now haha but went to spin the flywheel by hand to make sure everything was kosher haha gottaa love this everything was good we touqued to specs crankd it 2 times 2 start it now the pistons sezied

the piston seized???? maybe a ring just got caught?? Did you get it to run before the piston stuck?

Take it back apart, if the ring got stuck you may need to replace it, Check the walls of the cylinder for scarring, Did you have it bored or just a new piston kit? Oil the cylinder walls & the piston well with your two stroke permix oil. Put everything back together (arrow facing exhaust), Torque everything. It should work.
