no spark

I just got a 1980 RM 250 and it doesn't always have spark sometimes it will and sometimes it won't I've already checked all th grounds and connections and it didn't get any better what do you think I should try next and can you tell me how to check it

take your ignition coil to your local motor sports dealer/service center. have them test it.

its either your spark plug cap/wire/or ignition coil.

check your stator and flywheel too. Make sure you don't have any moisture in it
