Default How Bad Is It?

How much power or rpm will I be losing? I'm missing one spring on the clutch. The fastener that the screw threads into broke so I'm one spring shy. Can I run this way or do I need a new hub? Thank you

dont know if you would lose rpms but missing a spring would prolly cause your clutch to slip.

If your missing a spring then you couuld burn up your clutch plates quicker. I would say that you should be able to feel if the clutch is slipping because of the missing spring. I would check into getting a hub on ebay and not ride it unless you dont mind buying new clutch fibers and plates. I'm not completely sure but you may start putting ridghes on your basket if you ride it with a spring gone because it may let the plates come into more contact with basket.

I THINK it is but I can't say for sure. I'm sure someone who knows a little more about the quadracer will chime in and tell you about the hub. Shouldn't take but a few hours before someone sees it and tells you if they are the same.
