Does anyone have a firm answer on what the nitrogen psi should be in a stock Suzuki LT250R rear shock? Every post I have found on this subject has had conflicting info. ranging from 150 to 250 psi. Before a trip last weekend I put 225 in mine and it feels great and has held pressure. However I don't want to blow a perfectly good shock by having too much nitrogen in it so does anyone have specifics on this? Thank you! Nev

| it kinda really depends on your weight and what type of riding your doing. 250 is the norm for a atv and dirtbike type shock unless otherwise noted...

Ok thanks MX. I weigh 195 and ride in the dunes mainly so I'm not punishing it like the guys who ride tracks. Here's a couple pics, I need to enter it in the ATV of the month contest. ![]()

sweet lt. is that chain slide stock??

I did replace the original chain slide with another OEM chain slide. I kept it mostly original other than adding some juice. It's got a stock Quadzilla 40mm carb machined down to fit the stock 250 boot. Milled the head a bit to get the compression up and a high end pipe. Runs like a champ so figured why mess with the porting, boring, etc. and make it less reliable.
