Default LT250 rear shock nitrogen psi?

Does anyone have a firm answer on what the nitrogen psi should be in a stock Suzuki LT250R rear shock? Every post I have found on this subject has had conflicting info. ranging from 150 to 250 psi. Before a trip last weekend I put 225 in mine and it feels great and has held pressure. However I don't want to blow a perfectly good shock by having too much nitrogen in it so does anyone have specifics on this? Thank you! Nev

it kinda really depends on your weight and what type of riding your doing.

250 is the norm for a atv and dirtbike type shock unless otherwise noted...

Ok thanks MX. I weigh 195 and ride in the dunes mainly so I'm not punishing it like the guys who ride tracks. Here's a couple pics, I need to enter it in the ATV of the month contest.

I did replace the original chain slide with another OEM chain slide. I kept it mostly original other than adding some juice. It's got a stock Quadzilla 40mm carb machined down to fit the stock 250 boot. Milled the head a bit to get the compression up and a high end pipe. Runs like a champ so figured why mess with the porting, boring, etc. and make it less reliable.
